 How I Can Help

Many individuals who come to me desire to feel good but keep running up against the same bumps: perfectionism, never feeling good enough, and even a feeling that they are bad down inside. Some clients report that they struggle with obsessive thinking: they ruminate and run through every possible scenario in their head, in an endless loop. Others blame themselves when things don’t go right.  Maybe they hide their feelings and pain from themselves and others. They are gripped by pain from the past, seeking relief. Or, they really want to help a loved one who is struggling but they don’t know how. Does any of that sound familiar to you?

I help people in the midst or aftermath of life’s upheavals, when the ways they coped with stress are no longer sufficient. Many of the clients I work with have a great deal of competence and capability but are finding it hard to manage life right now. They are looking for a safe space to work through circumstantial difficulties or current stressors, or even long-standing challenges that they are ready to address with help.

People I help are seeking support with:

  • Difficult feelings and situations such as relationship strain, divorce, retirement, empty nest, illness, death and loss.

  • Learning or practicing new skills or strategies to get through a challenging time.

  • Conflict and self-criticism within themselves.

  • Anxiety, panic and rumination.

  • Pain or inner conflict related to their sexual orientation or gender identity, or that of a loved one.

  • A roller coaster of emotions, such as anger, rage, and blame.

  •  Developing healthier ways of coping.

Working Together for Your Well-being

Relationships, compassion, understanding, transformation – these are the values that resonate deep inside me and which give my life meaning. I enjoy collaborative relationships with clients, drawing on science and evidence-based practices, and weaving them with experience and intuitive wisdom, to guide people in healing from the inside out.

In addition to working with immediate stress and difficulties, I also help those who are seeking healing from the inside out and who are on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual fulfillment. If you are looking to make changes in your life; if you are seeking to deepen your relationships with others and within yourself - reach out to me! Together, we will design a path for your healing and wholeness.

Compassion is always born of understanding, and understanding is the result of looking deeply.
