Step 1: Reach Out
The first step in starting therapy is to reach out to us, and we offer 3 options:
Call us at 301.960.8960
Fill out our contact form
We want to make sure that we are a good fit for you! If we are not a good fit or are fully booked at the time of your call, we will offer referrals or add you to our waitlist.*
Our Client Care Coordinator will contact you within 24 hours, but usually sooner!
*Insurance note: As an out-of-network practice, we do not directly accept insurance. Most clients are eligible to receive some reimbursement. Learn more here.

Step 2: Consultation
Once we receive your request for therapy, our Client Care Coordinator will contact you for an introductory conversation. She will listen carefully to your needs and concerns, answer any questions, and recommend a therapist who might be the best match for you.
Then, she will schedule a 20-minute free initial consultation with your matched therapist. During this call or video meeting, you can ask any questions about the therapy process, share a bit about what is bringing you to therapy at this time, and learn more about your clinician’s therapeutic style. You’ll also schedule your first session!
-
Step 3: First Session!
When your first appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email with a link to our secure client portal. You can access and complete all intake documents inside the client portal. Please complete these before your first appointment.
During your first therapy session, your therapist will listen and learn more about you, and begin the process of identifying goals and making progress towards the life you desire.
Reach out to us today. We are ready to help you get on the path to your thriving life.
Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.
