In These Times
Finding Connection, Coping, and Inner Strength in Queer Community
Group Therapy for Queer Adults, Age 30 +
Feeling the weight of the world lately?
In a time of societal uncertainty and rapid change, many queer folx find themselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, angry, or shut down. This online group offers a supportive space to explore how current events and collective stressors impact our inner worlds and queer community.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles, participants will learn to recognize and understand the different parts of themselves that arise in response to the challenges of our current times —such as the part that worries about safety or stability, the part that feels helpless or withdraws, or the part that strives to stay in control. Together, we’ll practice accessing Self energy—the calm, compassionate inner resource that allows us to respond to the world with clarity and care.
